This is the difference between those who had a plan on what to do with their degrees and those who just thought that having a degree should immediately get them a job. These kids invested in themselves and laid the groundwork for their careers while they were STILL IN SCHOOL, not after graduation. Great to see students who have their heads on their shoulders. It’s not always about the degree, but rather about what you do with that degree.

Connections are overrated. Don’t depend on connections to get you a job or any favors down the road. I’m not saying connections AREN’T important. I’m just saying don’t depend on it. If you want something YOU still have to want it and go out and get it. Plus advice for any of the accounting majors. Get YOUR CPA. Take the exams early don’t wait.

Constructive feedback...if you're saying you're getting "thousands of dollars of cashback every year" that right there is a problem and it seems like you're just regurgitating talking points rather than looking at the math. Even if you're getting 2% cashback on everything, that means you're spending $50k+ per year for every $1k of cashback. So since you're making "thousands", does that mean you're spending hundreds of thousands of dollars in purchases every year? My guess is you're not actually making thousands but rather it's just an over-exaggeration to make it seem better than it is. I'm in my mid 40s and have used credit cards my entire life. I finally closed all my CC accounts. Take that for what it's worth. I've realized that they're just not as beneficial as you think when you look at the math honestly. I'm willing to bet that anyone with the mindset of "Well that's you. I'm responsible and I pay off my cards every month. What a concept." has never looked at both sides truly objectively.

I graduated from UC Riverside studied biology but ended up in real estate. Looking back I would have gone here and go straight to real estate. When I have kids, they’re going here. Definitely a great option. These students are very intelligent and solid.

Refreshing to see college kids finding job

Another interesting point to mention in the future is when the interest payment is distributed. If you have 1 account paid out in the second week of the month then another account in the 3rd/ 4th week of the month you could transfer back and forth if there’s no fees to grow the money faster. Just a thought.

I've been creating websites using WordPress since it was invented. I can see why it's frustrating for someone stepping into it for the first time, but modern page builders are restrictive and expensive. WP is a perfect balance between back-end flexibility (power and choice for the developer) and accessible content creation (ease of use for the author). Every time I use a page builder, I feel like a big company sat me down with a Denny's menu and a box of crayons.
